Our History
Pioneer College of Advanced Studies was established in Sept. 2014 as Pioneer Advanced Education Consult Nig. Ltd., running free tutorial-community services for SSCE/UTME students. It started as PIONEER TUTOR from the month of March to August 2014, before the full establishment as an Educational Gwagwalada, Abuja. After securing a better and conducive learning environment, Pioneer Advanced Educational Consult Nig. Ltd was registered under CAC as a full consult on the 14th of September, 2014. Thereafter, the journey for an Advanced Level Programme and the agitation for approval as both study and examination center began. In April, 2015, the organization was approved by The Ministry of Education and National Business Technical Examination Board (NABTEB) to coordinate the O' Level Advanced Examination, NABTEB. Furthermore, with well-equipped, spacious and conducive lecture halls, attractive and comfortable hostels with stable light and constant water supply, the school proceeded in running Advanced Level Programmes like IMB and JUPEB with the total number of nine students, eight full academic staff and nine Corps member for the 2015/2016 academic session which saw the number of students immensely increase to 96 in the 2016/2017 academic session, and thus consistently increased over the years as every new academic session is preceded with great innovations. The school began to run International programs like IELTS, TOTERL, SAT, GMAT, GRE and lot more in the year 2018 as it had drastically increased her facilities to standard and well-equipped lecture halls with standard e Leaning facilities that also boasts of an oriental and digital Library with uninterrupted power supply. The school was renamed as Pioneer College of Advanced Studies in November 2019. Ever since then, the staff have undoubtedly increased in number between an averages of 80 to 100, with both teaching and non teaching staff, outstanding learning modalities and the number of admitted students have also risen to 6235 with branches across the country that includes; Cross river (Ogoja), Rivers (Port Harcourt), Benin City, while the study center in FCT-Abuja remains the Headquarter. Over the years, the school has successfully secured admission through the Advanced Level Programme for her students into different Federal, State and Private Universities across the country. Furthermore, records now have it that many of her students have graduated from various universities and have been mobilized for the Nigerian Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
